At Bi-Campus, we are looking for a driven and experienced Business Intelligence Consultant to join our IT & Analytics department.

Your Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for translating the information needs of the business into a secure and reliable information system. With your expertise, you will contribute to the design and realization of management information within Bi-Campus. You will work closely with users to identify their information needs and transform them into technical designs that can be built.

As part of the Business Intelligence team, you will also be involved in prioritizing requests and shaping sprints. You will play an active role in the refinement, planning, and realization of user stories and support users in the acceptance and adoption of the delivered products. In addition to designing and building reports, you will also maintain these reports and the underlying platform.

We believe in the benefits of hybrid/remote working. Therefore, you have the flexibility to work from home. However, we expect you to spend an average of 20% of your time in the office (this can be adjusted in consultation with your manager), as collaboration and team spirit are important to us. After the probation period, you will receive €750,- net to set up your home office (for permanent employees).

Who Are You?

For this role, we are looking for a professional who not only possesses the technical skills but also has the drive to continuously strive for improvement and optimization within the field. You have strong analytical and communication skills, a proactive work attitude, and a sense of responsibility. You are fluent in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

Additionally, you have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration
  • Several years of experience in the BI field

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Data warehousing and BI concepts, data modeling, data architecture, and ETL processes
  • Microsoft tools (T-SQL, Powershell, Pyspark, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, SSIS, SSMS)
  • Data storage (Azure SQL Server, Data Lake, SSAS) and visualization (Power BI, SSRS)
  • Dimensional modeling (Kimball) and SQL Server management
  • Agile working (preferred)
